Evil Emerges from the Fall's Vulnerability

Human beings are fundamentally damaged and vulnerable due to a significant disruption in our animal existence, which leads to the emergence of culture as a response to this lack. The concept of evil can be understood through this lens, where the fall represents not only a descent into sin but a transition from a state of organic unity into a vulnerable and open condition. This fall creates the space for goodness to emerge, as prior to this rupture, the concept of good did not exist.
