Structured Data Analysis in Enterprises
Enterprises are shifting towards structured data analysis to evaluate the performance of investments across their product portfolios regularly and make informed decisions. This involves assessing which investments to continue or stop, standardizing data evaluation processes, and segmenting data to identify and address problem areas. Unlike startups, enterprises focus on analyzing business metrics like revenue, top of funnel, conversion rate, ACV, net expansion, and churn rate to understand the overall business performance. Many enterprises currently use a combination of SQL, Google Sheets, and Google Slides for data analysis, resulting in a scattered approach to data management. The transition is towards a more centralized and structured approach to data analysis that involves viewing the entire organization's performance holistically, rather than individual team-based analysis.
