NOTE

The Danger of Overestimating Self-Importance

Individuals often overestimate their significance in the eyes of others, assuming people are consistently observing and judging them. However, studies show that individuals tend to exaggerate the extent to which their actions and abilities are noticed by others. This tendency to believe we are the center of attention can lead to unnecessary stress and pressure. In reality, people are usually preoccupied with their own lives and thoughts, and what may seem crucial to oneself may not be important or memorable to others. By questioning the actual relevance of our worries to others, we can alleviate a significant amount of stress and anxiety.
