Disrupting the Two-Party System
The key to changing the two-party system lies in making the fiction real, where leaders need to prioritize the satisfaction of a majority of the population to stay in power. Despite the absence of political party mentions in the Constitution, it is possible to disrupt the system by altering party mechanisms at the state level. This can be accomplished through ballot initiatives in 25 states, allowing the removal of party primaries, if a majority agrees to the change.
