NOTE

The Impact of Heated Oils and Caloric Restriction on Human Lifespan

Using heated oils in cooking can cause them to become rancid, which is not recommended for promoting longevity. The primary principle for extending human lifespan is moderate caloric restriction along with micronutrient excellence. Cold pressed oils may contain glyceratyl toxin and have varying degrees of rancidity. While a small amount of oil may have some positive effects compared to a diet with no fat, it is still better to consume nuts and seasonings instead of oil. Heating the oil at high temperatures can cause more damage to the endothelium. Overall, consuming a small amount of oil is not significant but not ideal for promoting longevity.
