Procrastivity, also known as productive procrastination, may provide a temporary sense of productivity, but can ultimately lead to larger issues in the future. Avoidance is described as one of the most addictive behaviors, providing instant relief but causing problems later on, especially for adults with ADHD. While some avoidance can be a signal that rest is needed, often it results in putting off important tasks to one's own detriment.
