Chanting with a closed mouth in a gradual manner allows us to focus on the internal vibration rather than the sound produced. The goal is to pay attention to the subtle and profound vibration within us, not the number of chants. By closing our eyes and chanting, we can observe how the sound travels through our body, emphasizing mindfulness and self-awareness during the practice.
