The worst fear I have is feeling overwhelmed by emotion, but I know that emotions will pass and I don't need to act on them. I learned this from a conversation with Tamarath, who struggles with ongoing grief. Despite the intensity of her emotions, she reminded me to let them wash over me and eventually release them.
