Iran’s Support for Hamas and Hezbollah
The Iranians have expressed support for Hamas and provided military aid. While the Iranians may have been aware of the attacks, it's unclear if they orchestrated them. Hezbollah, aligned with Iran, has launched rocket strikes on Israeli soldiers, with Israel responding in kind. If Iran wanted to be seen as behind the attacks, Hezbollah would have been involved. Iran claims it had no role and has been making geopolitical advancements, including improved relations with Saudi Arabia and engaging with the US.
