Three Facets of Intrinsic Value in YouTube Videos

YouTube videos hold intrinsic value if they are educational, providing new knowledge or expanding perspectives; if they are entertaining, capturing attention and providing enjoyment; or if they are inspiring, either artistically stimulating or portraying an aspirational lifestyle. These facets of intrinsic value are distinct from production value, which refers to the quality of the video in terms of camera, lighting, and overall technical execution. While production value is important, it does not automatically equate to intrinsic value, making YouTube a highly diverse platform in terms of content.
