Their intense love is intertwined with vulnerability that is closely connected to their sense of shame, leading to explosive emotional reactions. Children may perceive their own feelings as threatening, causing them to experience a profound fear of abandonment or being overwhelming to others.

In this episode, my guest is Dr. Becky Kennedy, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist, bestselling author, and founder of Good Inside, an education platform for parents and parents-to-be.
