Three Steps to Building a Productivity System
The three steps to building a productivity system from scratch are capture, clarify, and control. Firstly, in capture, all obligations should be written down in a trusted place outside your head. Use a digital tool for a master online list and an analogue paper notebook for capturing ideas on-the-go. Secondly, in clarify, organize the tasks in your list by status and urgency to plan ahead. Utilize your digital list for task organization with categories like backburn, waiting to hear back, and need to work on this week. Lastly, in control, manage your time effectively by giving every minute a specific task through time block planning in a plain notebook from nine to ten, ten to ten thirty, and so on.
