Avoiding addressing a problem leads to it persisting and potentially worsening. When individuals choose not to discuss their issues, they often resort to negative behaviors towards others, escalating the situation. This cycle of avoidance and negative behavior perpetuates the problem and can lead to a worsening of the relationships. By not engaging in crucial conversations to address conflicts, individuals inadvertently contribute to the escalation of issues, becoming complicit in the problem's deterioration.
