Transitioning from Twitter to a Personal Newsletter
Over a year ago, I decided to take a break from tweeting and instead started a personal newsletter. I sent it to 200 close friends and wrote about my life and shared interesting links. It was a bit strange at first, but it felt like having a conversation with friends. It reminded me of a quote from Jenny Odell's book, 'How to Do Nothing,' about connecting with people who understand us rather than creating content for those who don't. I didn't want to close the door on Twitter completely, but this new approach gave me a more personal and meaningful connection with others.
