Jacquelyn Lane and Scott Osman- Becoming Coachable

From The Green Notebook

NOTE

The Importance of Feedback and Being Coachable

Epiti, the philosopher, talks about how we all have two sacks - one hanging around our neck and one on our back. We can't see our own sack, but we can see others'. It's important to get feedback to see our own sack and be open with those around us. Sometimes we unknowingly intimidate or confuse others and no one tells us. We think everyone can see our faults, but we need to look at ourselves too. Coaches believe in people's potential and aim to help them become their best selves.
