The Effect of Fast Training on Tendon Stiffness and Cross Links
When doing fast training, the collagen molecules in the tendon work together as a sheet instead of as individual molecules./nFast movements on low weight result in the addition of more cross links, making the muscles stiffer over time./nSlow exercise breaks cross links and then makes new ones, leading to a decrease in overall stiffness over time.
