By becoming aware of your thought patterns, you can start to shape your reality. You don't necessarily have to change or fix these thoughts, but merely observe them. When you catch your mind spiraling into negativity or failure, observing it from an outside perspective weakens the thought pattern automatically. Habitual thought patterns are strong and automatic, but by consciously observing them, they start to dissolve and become less automatic. Moving from an automatic to an observed state weakens the power of the thought pattern over time.
