NOTE

Cheap Glucose is Everywhere.

The food industry prioritized quantity over quality, leading to the abundance of cheap glucose. Sugar plantations made it easier and less expensive to put glucose into products by using simple forms like sugar cane and molasses. This increased our exposure to sugars beyond what is normal. In the past, when we foraged or grew our own food, the effort used to produce it helped burn the raw glucose we absorbed. The inefficiency lies in filling our system with glucose we didn't pay for energetically.
