Switching between paradigms and frames of reference is a normal and healthy practice. We constantly use different ways of thinking and framing things. Being aware of this and understanding the pros and cons of our ontologies is a skill that can be developed. Chaos magic emphasizes this practice and likens it to changing clothes. It is interesting and beneficial to switch between different models and situations, just like scientists require testable hypotheses and independent verification.
