The Value of Patience in Decision Making
The most valuable thing about decision making is patience. It is important to give oneself the time to explore ideas thoroughly and not feel the need for immediate closure. It is essential to consider a variety of possibilities and not stop until a good and diverse set of ideas is obtained. Each idea should be examined by asking what would have to be true for it to be a good idea. The likelihood of each element being true should also be evaluated. If they are not true, one should consider how they can be made true.
