In week four, the model includes one 20 yard sprint at 85 to 90 intensity, one 30 yard sprint at 90 to 95 intensity, and four to five 40 yard sprints at 95 to 90 intensity. Hill sprints are recommended before flat ground sprints to reduce hamstring stress and allow for acceleration and force development drills, leading to adaptation of tissues.
