Having too much discretionary time (beyond about five hours) can lead to a decrease in life satisfaction. The ideal range for discretionary time is between two and five hours. While two hours may seem unattainable at first glance, upon closer evaluation, it is possible to find this time within your day by reallocating activities to fulfillments like riding a bike or spending time outdoors. Making decisions based on data can lead to optimizing time usage and investing it more effectively.
