Progressive Approach to One Rep Max Training

A coach named Dale introduced a progressive approach to one rep max training to a mentee. The approach involved sets of 10, 5, 3, 1, 1, 1 reps, starting from 50% of the projected one rep max and working up to 100% on the last set. Each set represented a percentage of the goal weight, enabling the individual to gradually build up to their max lift.
