Check the label to ensure the cheese is made from goat or sheep milk, as some feta cheeses in America are made from cow's milk. Consider trying pecorino from Italy, manchego from Spain, or sampler packs of sheep cheeses. Italian prosciutto is also a good fermented food option with no nu5gce, readily available pre-sliced at Costco.
