The Gospel for All People

The gospel is not just for a certain demographic. We can know this in our heads, but sometimes, the way we live communicates a different message. Maybe we find ourselves withholding the gospel from people who are different from us. Maybe we think some people are “too far gone” in their sins to hear the Good News. Maybe we’ve been deeply hurt and don’t want the grace of God to lead the offending party to repentance. We can forget the gospel, and that it is indeed for all people!    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Overcoming Negative Body Image

Many of us silently wrestle with negative body image issues. We feel pride or shame in how we look or don’t look. While it’s true that God looks at our hearts and cares for the eternal well-being of our souls, He also made us as whole persons with physical bodies. What God said is “good” became distorted with sin. But the gospel offers us true freedom even here. Jesus can overcome the heart issues related to body image. We can find our worth, not in our outward appearances, but in our union with Christ!    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Walking with Others Through Suffering and Grief

Someone you know is grieving or suffering. This is true for all of us. And the thing is, we want to be people who love and encourage others well in all seasons of life, even the hard ones. But we wonder: “What if we say the wrong thing? What if we make them even sadder? What if it’s really awkward? Could we really offer any sort of comfort?” In this episode, we get really practical about things we can say and things we can do when we’re walking with others through their grief and suffering.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Choosing Words Wisely with Children with Abbey Wedgeworth

Words are important. We use words to engage with others, so we want to be mindful of the power of words and their tremendous effects. Abbey Wedgeworth joins us today and guides us through this discussion. She offers wisdom, biblical truth, and a lot of practical advice on how we can wisely choose our words when we’re specifically speaking to children. This conversation is not just for parents! Many of us interact with kids in ministry, in our own extended families, or in our neighborhoods.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? What Does It Mean to “Abide”?

Abide. We use it as our “word of the year”. We see it on coffee mugs, necklaces and baseball caps. But what does abiding really mean? How do we abide? What does it look like to abide in the Lord in this day and age? We are joined by Kristin Schmucker, and she helps us see how abiding is simply being a disciple. It’s not about trying harder out of our own strength, but trusting in the person and work of Christ. It’s an overflow of our position in Christ as His beloved. It’s a means to true rest.    Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions? When Comparison is a Good Thing

Does comparison always lead to envy and competition? Is it really “the thief of joy”? Scripture offers us a different form of comparison: imitation. We are called to imitate those who imitate Christ. This is a positive form of comparison that helps us in our pursuit of godliness. It isn’t about getting validation. It is acknowledging our weaknesses, identifying believers who are strong in those areas, and learning from them in order to grow in Christlikeness. The goal is more of Christ and His glory.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Teach Me to Pray

We know we should pray. We want a thriving prayer life. But where do we start? What do we say? Our prayer lives feel rote and dry! We wish someone would teach us to pray. Good news! Jesus gave us the model to experience an enriching prayer life in Scripture! The Lord’s prayer has 6 petitions (3 God-centered petitions followed by 3 need-centered petitions), and these can serve as a framework for our prayers. Prayer is an important spiritual discipline to intimately commune with God!    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Learning from Our Differences with Kristie Anyabwile

Our world is diverse. People come from different cultures, are shaped by different experiences, and have different preferences and passions. Even within the body of Christ, there are a wide range of personalities! While differences can be good, they can also create tension that can give way to conflict/division. Joy in the Mundane

Do you live for the weekend? Or the next vacation? For most of us, our days are ordinary and filled with monotonous, everyday things. We can feel weary, unfulfilled, overwhelmed, or stressed because of the mundane things that fill up our days. We are tempted to go into auto-pilot. But how does the gospel inform the way we approach the mundane things of life like paying the bills, doing homework, cleaning the house, and changing diapers? We believe that in Christ, we can experience fullness of joy.    Connect with us:  www.dailygracepodcast.com  www.thedailygraceco.com  https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/  https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/    Questions? Walking Through Seasons of Spiritual Dryness

On today’s episode, we talk about the times in our spiritual lives where we feel like we’re in a drought. Maybe God’s presence feels withdrawn. Maybe we don’t find delight in reading and studying His Word. Maybe we don’t feel passionate about God and the things of God like we once did. We may wonder: why do we experience these times of spiritual dryness? Is it an indicator of a lack of faith or is it something all believers go through at some point on their faith journeys? Today, we talk all about spiritual dryness. We discuss the various reasons we can experience these seasons, and how we can faithfully walk through them.     Resources mentioned in this episode:  Waterpik High Pressure Shower Head  Ep. 57 The Beauty of Daily Dependence by Daily Grace  Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin  Ep. 14 Discipleship & Evangelism with Tamzen Baker by Daily Grace  Ep. 7 Preaching the Gospel to Yourself by Daily Grace  Preaching the Gospel to Yourself by The Daily Grace Co.  “Finding God” Sermon by Tim Keller    Scripture mentioned in this episode:  Psalm 42:1-2  Psalm 63:1  Romans 8:30  Psalm 1  2 Corinthians 1:29  Ephesians 4:17-23  Micah 7:7-9  Galatians 5:22-24  Ephesians 3:14-19  Psalm 16:11  Psalm 40:1-3  2 Corinthians 1    Connect with us:  Subscribe to Daily Grace: on iOS, go to our iTunes page and click subscribe.  On Android, click this podcast RSS feed link and choose your podcast app.  If needed, you can copy this link directly into your favorite podcast app (like Stitcher or Overcast).  Or follow us on Spotify!     We would love if you took a few minutes to leave us an iTunes review to help spread the word about Daily Grace!  We want to invite more women into our conversations!    Download The Daily Grace app: for iOS, click here to download.  On Android, click here to download.  Visit The Daily Grace Co. for beautiful products for the whole family that will equip you on your journey to knowing and loving God more.   Subscribe to The Daily Grace Newsletter and receive free Bible study resources in your inbox.   Like The Daily Grace Co. on Facebook.  Follow on Instagram for the latest updates on the podcast and The Daily Grace Co.   Engage with our Facebook community, “The Daily Grace Co.
