Life-Giving Practices for Spiritual Growth

Spiritual disciplines: life-giving or life-sucking? Many of us have feelings of dread when we think about spiritual disciplines. We think about all the things we “have to” or “should do” as believers and then think about all the ways we fail to do those things. We know they’re good for us, but they feel too hard! Our understanding and approach to spiritual disciplines matters a lot. They should be life-giving practices that lead to spiritual growth, true joy, and deepened intimacy with Christ.   Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions? Experiencing God through Creation with Hannah Anderson

Do you pay attention to creation? Like the wildflowers and the changing of the seasons. Whether or not we’re nature people, we are called to “consider the lilies of the field”. But why? God is showing us something (without words) in nature that He reveals (with words) in Scripture! He uses both His creation and His Word, to teach us more about who He is. We can experience Him through creation!    Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions? Pursuing Real Success

We are all looking for success. The question is: how do you define success? As believers, we can shy away from this topic because we only consider the world’s perception of success being all about power. But the truth is, success is about fulfilling your purpose. As believers, we were created with purpose, so we should strive to be successful! But we want to be careful with how we define and pursue success. How we view success has major implications for our everyday lives so we don’t want to get it wrong!   Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions? Beauty, Body Image, and Fighting Insecurity with Bethany Beal

Physical beauty is something that we think about. For some of us, it takes up more mental real estate than we’d like to admit. In fact, it’s a point of insecurity for us. We’re bombarded with different definitions of beauty; so much so that it can be exhausting! What is truly beautiful? Can the Bible actually help us have a healthy outlook on physical beauty? Can this not be a point of insecurity for us as Chrisitan women? How to Handle Stress

Stress. We all experience it because our world is full of stressors. Even though God has designed our bodies to respond to stressors in a way that keeps us safe, we don’t always handle stress in a way that is healthy. Is there a way for believers to manage stress in a God-honoring, gospel-magnifying way? What are some practical things we can do to handle stress peacefully? The Bible offers us principles for dealing with stress. Thou Shalt Not Lie: Slander, Silence, & Manipulation with Jen Wilkin

“Do not bear false witness against your neighbor” (9th commandment). What does that even mean? Are we good if we just don’t spread lies about our neighbors? Are the 10 commandments something we even need to pay attention to on this side of the cross? Jen Wilkin helps us understand the purpose behind the law, and how we should view it today. She expounds on the 9th commandment, and we may be surprised at what all it entails. The Pathway from Heartbreak to Hope with Mark Vroegop

Heartbreak, deep pain, suffering. We’ve all grieved the brokenness of this world. Yet, some of us wish we knew how to grieve effectively and with hope. As believers, we know we are not exempt from suffering and grief, but if we’re honest, sometimes we have a hard time reconciling our pain and the goodness and sovereignty of God. Can we grieve and trust God? Can we struggle and believe? Can we mourn and rejoice? Yes, we can, and it’s through the practice of lament!   Connect with us: www.dailygracepodcast.com www.thedailygraceco.com https://www.facebook.com/thedailygraceco/ https://www.instagram.com/thedailygraceco/   Questions?
