Episode 180: Making Your Practices Ads More Effective While Keeping Ad Cost Down.

In Todays Podcast Episode I talk about how to drive your ad cost down and how to ultimately make your veterinary practices marketing and ads more effective. As we are starting to go into the holiday season here we are starting to see seasonal and competition changes coming up, making keeping your ads cost down even more important. These tips I will be sharing in this episode will help you have a great framework for your paid ads and get better cost per results and cost per action. The 3 Things you can do to help lower your ads costs and make your ads more effective are: 1)Having high-quality pieces of content you can mix in along with other content and offers. Like with every piece of content or offer set aside some time to really think about who your client avatar is and who you want to target with your content or offer. Put ads out with intention, think of who your client is, what do they want or need, and why do they need it. Also, think about having a few to up to 12 pieces of pillar content that you can rotate throughout the year. Typically having higher quality content will make for lower cost engagements. 2)Have a great responsive website. Make sure your website is nice looking, easy to use and understand, and has all of your information easy to see. The less time your clients have to take to find your number, address, or hours the better. 3)Build out micro-segments Retargeting a very small niched audience that is specific to the piece of content or offer will also help drive down your ad cost Be sure to listen and let me know if you have any questions, comments or need help with anything!

Episode :179 Could Facebook Ads New Updates Change Your Marketing?

If you have been Facebook Ads manager for some time you probably have seen that ads manager looks different lately. In today's episode, I talk about the newest updates to facebook ads and what exactly is conversion budget optimization? I also talk about a lot of the new automation tools now available and who and what they are built for and how you can use them. so many new changes and tools are coming to Facebook that it's exciting but it can also be a little complicated getting used to the new feature. As I cover the new updates from facebook ads I want to talk about automation and should you be using it, Using CBO ( conversion budget optimization), and whether you should be using the new tools that have become available with the updates from not only facebook ads but also google ads? The biggest new update to facebook ads was the addition of Conversion Budget Optimization. What Conversion Budget Optimization does is it will automatically spend your ad set to optimize for specific conversion events based on the performance of the ads you are running. Conversion budget optimization can only run with a conversion event so be sure if you are using conversion budget optimization that you have conversion pixels installed. Conversion budget optimization campaigns are now becoming the default and have been toggled on automatically. if you would like to run your campaigns without Conversion budget optimization be sure to run at least one ad campaign without CBO to opt-out of Conversion budget optimization becoming your permanent default come February 2020. The new tools and features are here to help your marketing but always be sure you are tracking and measuring your data to make sure your marketing is performing well. Be sure to listen and let me know if you have any questions, comments or need help with anything!

Episode 178: How Using Micro Targeting In Your Marketing Can Help With Expense

As we are starting to gear up for the upcoming holiday season we can count on a few things. the weather is getting colder, appointments start slowing down, and ad cost is going up! In today's episode, I talk about how to use micro-targeting in your practice's marketing to help with your ad expense. Micro-targeting makes your marketing more effective and helps you have lower cost. Ad tools on facebook, Instagram and Google ads are amazing in that they have options where you can target micro-groups or small niches of groups so you can make extremely relevant content for these groups. a few things to always keep in mind with ads are: 1) who are you trying to target with your offer? 2) What are they looking for or in need for? 3) what kind of offer do you have that are beneficial to these kinds of groups? Be aware that the more competition the higher ad cost becomes in Facebook and Instagram. In the holiday and election sesons cost for ads are going to rise. To stand out on facebook and instagram you have to be extremely relevant in the types of content you are putting out. You will also want to make your offers more attractive and enticing to drive clients to your practice. For google ads the cost to run ads there is lower, therefore, you have more options. Retargeting clients that didn't take you up on a special offer but were interested Visitation recency- remind clients that its time to come in again as its been 6 or more months Microcontent - A piece of content that is specifically targeted to a very small niche group of people If you would like to learn even more about paid ads join me on October 9th for a special webinar all about paid ads for your veterinary practices digital marketing. Episode 176: Using Laser Targeted Segmented Lists To Increase Revenue and Conversion In Your Practice

In Todays Episode I cover how to use ultra segmented targeted list inside your veterinary practice to help grow your business through very pinpointed targeted marketing. I also talk about how using these segmented lists can actually be very helpful to increase conversion and in turn, increase your revenue in your veterinary practice. Keeping track and tracking clients and people coming into your practice and have been presented or offered a specific procedure, service, exam, or product but have not taken you up on your offer can be extremely useful data to input into your retargeting lists. Figure out what you can do to help improve client conversion and compliance. Using special offers that call to clients that have been offered this before in every possible medium whether it be direct mail, email marketing, telemarketing or even text message marketing can increase your conversion rates. Think of this method as the cart abandoned method remind your clients about offers and services they were interested in but didn't act on and show them their offer just for them. Custom and personalized ways to let your clients know about such offers will have better conversion rates such as handwritten letters or even personalized video messages that are sent directly to clients using an app called Bonjoro. Having automated segmented emails is also very effective. Two things to help you with your segmented marketing: 1) If you can create an offer that is laser targeted to your specific client and take it one step further and personalized you can increase client compliancy 2) Having your lists (email, phone, and mailing) segmented so you know exactly who you are communicating with and what you are communicating about, and how to create them a specific offer. Be sure to listen and let me know if you have any questions, comments or need help with anything!
