The Non 'New Year New You' Plan
New year, new you, NO WAY! You don't need a new you. You are fantastic just the way you are. New year, new you implies that who we are isn't enough. How about we switch this to "New Year, I'm Here!".With the original phrase, you are putting all your eggs in the New Year basket and this puts you in the place where you need a fresh year to do something different. I simply don't believe in this way of planning. The solution? Listen in to find out!In this episode, you will learn the following:1. Why the phrase "New Year, New You" can set you up for failure, and what to say instead.2. How to make the most of a new year without overwhelming yourself with trying to become a "new you".3. Discover a powerful planning process to help you prioritize and accomplish your goals throughout the year.Ready to finally ditch overwhelm and learn how to gain control of your time no matter what life throws at you? DM me on Instagram the word "training" and I will send over my free training.Like what you heard here?I’d be honored and grateful if you would head over to iTunes to leave a review and let other female entrepreneurs know what you learned! New Year's Resolutions: Why I Don't Set Them & What You Should Do Instead
Don't waste your time writing New Year's resolutions - they're a setup for failure. Once upon a time, I was a firm believer in making traditional New Year's resolutions each year, but I have since come to realize that this is a waste of time.Instead of making bold statements at the beginning of the year (most times unrealistic to your current circumstances), I now focus on something completely different. A way that allows for changes that may come up over the course of the year and account for changes. My realistic approach is how to set yourself up for success. In this episode, you will learn the following:1. Why I don't believe in New Year's resolutions and how they can actually set you up for failure.2. What an alternative approach to New Year's resolutions is 3. A better way to approach goal setting for the coming year. Having a Full Schedule Doesn't Equal a Full Life
I'm always surprised when people look at my weekly planner and see how much white space is in there. To the outside world, I appear to be a highly productive person. But the fact is, I have a lot of free time on my calendar. That's because I prioritize the things that are most important to me. And I've realized that a full calendar or full schedule does not necessarily mean that you have a full life. In fact, sometimes it can mean the opposite. If you're constantly overbooked, over-scheduled, and over-exhausted, it's time to take a step back and assess what's really important to you. That way, you can fill your life with the things that bring you joy and make you feel accomplished, content and satisfied. In this episode, you will learn the following:1. How my schedule looks more blank than you think2. The importance of removing things from your calendar that don't fill you up.3. The benefits of having large chunks of time in your life that are not full.Like what you heard here?I’d be honored and grateful if you would head over to iTunes to leave a review and let other female entrepreneurs know what you learned!
