We had the most amazing day in New York! We started out in Brooklyn and ended up in Manhattan. Our day was full of worship and fun. God is good. 

What is Sound Doctrine? Why does it matter? We have been insulted and attacked over our recent Statement of Faith and over our stand for Sound Doctrine. We address, head on, the importance of issues like the Trinity and The Deity of Christ in this episode. 

This episode starts of with a JC Roast and ends in prayer. In the middle, Brian and Nate discuss the peace of God. Our world is full of bad news and Christians are not exempt from suffering, but God promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us. We hope this encourages you in the middle of whatever you are going through. 

Music is such an important part of the church and it has brought unity across denominational lines. Zach Alvis and Jonathan Buckner of Chosen Road join us to talk about their journey out of legalism and the music that God has given them to minister to thousands across the US and around the world. The truth of God's word is our standard and it is the foundation of our faith. This episode is full of laughs, music, and solid theology. 

Is it possible to promote truth while maintaining a gracious spirit? It is for true believers who are walking in step with the Spirit. We should never be arrogant about the grace that we have received. Blake Long, the author of Gospel Smugness, joins us today to talk about his journey that led up to writing this book. 

Brian interviews Walt Heyer about his life leading up to his life altering surgery and what he discovered about the grace and mercy of Christ. Walt shares a unique perspective on transgenderism, the gospel, and how Christians should engage difficult issues. 

Bryan Drake joins the RFP to talk about ministry and calling. God uses different people in different ways for His glory. 

JC, Brian, and Nathan sit down with Reba Bowman in this episode to discuss her life before and after legalism. Reba grew up in the Independent Fundamental Baptist world and became the Dean of Women at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN. After leaving the life of a university professor, Reba started speaking as a bible teacher and women’s conference teacher in 2003. Dare For More Ministries grew out of her speaking ministry. In 2012, Reba and the DFM team began to pray and rethink how Dare for More could build a bridge to connect the women who attended their events to the women and girls in crisis in communities around the world. Today, hundreds of women are making a difference as they go on missions trips and pour into the women and girls in need. Others are partnering with projects, purchasing products, and so much more.

Many people are held hostage to their past. What defines your existence? Are you defined by what you do? Are you trying to achieve value by your efforts? Are you defeated because of something that happened to you in your past? God desires healing and hope for His children and He has done everything necessary to purchase your freedom. Join JC, Brian, and Nate as they discuss this hostage situation that they encounter regularly, among those who are leaving legalism. 

JC, Brian, and Nate talk about the atonement that was accomplished on the cross and the glorious resurrection of Christ. Jesus paid the penalty for our sin, absorbing the wrath of God in our place, as a substitute, the innocent for the guilty, and he cleansed us from our sin and satisfied God's holiness. He accomplished all righteousness. He died. He was buried. He arose on the third day. Hallelujah, He is risen indeed.
