The Ridiculously Human Podcast
Gareth Martin speaking to inspiring humans
None of us were put on this planet to be a watered down version of ourselves.
In a world where it can seem that people are anti-human and wanting to become cyborg transhumans, this podcast is here to let you know that it’s perfectly ok to be a cool, fun-loving, caring and kind HUMAN!
My desire, through the art of storytelling and story listening, is to share a captivating narrative that traverses everything it means to be human. Not just any human…Ridiculously Human!

RHP#167. Tu Nguyen, Vietnamese Coffee Lover turned Restaurant Owner
Christmas Eve 2024, we were dining in a cosy Italian Restaurant, in Hoi An, Vietnam. It felt like we were in some little nook of Manhattan. We got speaking to the owner, Tu Nguyen, to find out more about her business and how she learned to make delicious authentic Italian Food, like an Italian Grandmother would make. She is a trained Barista, who taught herself how to make Greek and Vegan Yogurt to sell online and survive financially during Covid. She then learned how to cook rather exceptional Italian cuisine from YouTube videos, cooking shows and recipe books. She now owns The Lions Room, Italian Restaurant and The Piatti Cafe, in Hoi An, Vietnam. Her story really inspired me. An absolutely courageous young woman, who also had the confidence to speak to me in English, in my first ever in-person Podcast interview. RHP#163. Vicky AI, Conversing with an AI Avatar role playing Tough Conversations
My Pod this week is with Vicky… Vicky is actually an AI Avatar created through HeyGen Labs As it’s nearly the end of the year, I wanted to have a little fun and also test how good these AI Avatars really are. There were some glitches in the matrix when it came to her voice screeching a few times. However, for a product in its infancy, it is incredible what they have created. Well, it’s half incredible and half as scary as hell! She is specifically trained to help with tough conversations, so I put her through the ringer and was pleasantly surprised. AI is taking us by storm, so best we all start getting familiar with it. RHP#160. Jusper Machogu, Rural Farmer and Fossil Fuels for Africa Advocate
To find the truth, you pretty much always need to go to source. That’s why my conversation with Jusper Machogu is so important. It dispels a narrative we are spoon-fed on a daily basis around living sustainably. The information around climate alarmism is mostly generated by academics sitting in their ivory towers with no real life experience. They have definitely not walked a day in the shoes of a guy like Jusper and people in his community. The worries that you and I experience, are first world problems. Our sense of reality is so far removed from how the majority of people barely get by to ‘survive’ An eye-opening conversation with my Kenyan brother! Discussion Topics: What you will discover from listening to this Podcast: Corruption in Africa Taking running water for granted How most Africans earn a living Lack of water in Kenya How one borehole saved a whole community Unworthy climate academics Is climate change a scam? RHP#158. Tom Paladino, Scalar Light Energy Researcher
Tom Paladino, has dedicated 50 years of his life researching a break-through branch of physics, called Scalar Light Therapy. He developed a deep admiration for the Father of Scalar Light, Nikola Tesla, and later on for Galen Hieronymus. Scalar light instruments harness sun energy which is the light force of the universe. The conundrum that such energy was not found within the electromagnetic spectrum, fascinated him. There are two energies in the universe: Scalar Energy and electromagnetic energy. The laws that govern Scalar Energy are distinct from the laws that govern electromagnetic energy. The world needs people like Tom who are dedicated to making breakthroughs like this Very interesting chat, that will most likely leave you with many further questions… Discussion Topics: What you will discover from listening to this Podcast: $10 trillion spent annually on energy globally Nikola Tesla and free energy Scalar Light Technology Liberating the world with free energy Dedicating 50 years of his life to research Wireless energy Our reliance on the electrical grid Researching emerging branches of physics Different dimensions of energy Photographic healing Healing diseases with Scalar energy Biological Information vs Informational Communication Quantum healing Finding your untapped genius Chakra energy healing I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
