Vance attacking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office the previous Friday. Next they discussed the relationship between Trump and Russian president Vladimir Putin. Plus, they talked about Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency cutting programs as well as the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race.

Wexler explained the history of the Federal Communications Commission and radio, explained the fairness doctrine. Scaffidi asked Wexler why right-leaning commentators won audiences after the elimination of the fairness doctrine. Scaffidi and Wexler discussed the news aspect of radio stations like WTMJ. Wexler and Scaffidi talked about the uncertain future of public broadcasting like NPR and PBS. They close as Wexler explains Wexaholics, Reverend Blue Jeans, the craziest thing he had heard on the radio, his paring gift from Good Karma Brands and what was ahead for Wexler.

A clip from the report was played and Steve gave his thoughts and opened the talk and text line for listeners’ thoughts as well. The previous night, the United States House of Representatives passed a budget bill that would still have to go through the Senate. Steve went over what was included and gave his thoughts. Steve Scaffidi went on to criticize Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency and the danger that they pose for America.
