This week although we are missing half our team, you'll hardly notice with our fellow enthusiastic Challenge fan Katie who joined us for this special double recap! We also give our take on the Moriah and James situation-ship, what stood out to us at this deliberation, how much we love what Hughie did for Berna, whether or not we think Hughie could have had a better chance against someone else and of course why we love Kyland so much. We were so excited to sit down with Desi once again but this time to talk all about her impeccable season on The Challenge USA2 and her redemption journey to being Champion! We also breakdown what this daily reminded Corrina of, is Chauncey not strong or was he too wet, why we think Chauncey and Hughie took the majority of the heat for the failure of the daily, and do we think a group of Champions could have completed this daily? We kick off per usual by discussing the title and rating the foreshadowing of this particular episode. After that we do a quick rundown of EP00, discuss our thoughts on having an episode zero, how we feel about production keeping the fans in the dark about certain aspects of the game, break down the format, debate whether or not we like the idea of a single winner with "something" for second and third place, the option to earn more money throughout the season, the fact we are seeing the entire cast play as one instead of against each other and where is the "something" for second and third place really coming from?! Next we break down how we feel about having mercenaries on this particular season, Cierran being elected as leader, whether or not Berna was loud enough at the daily, what the cast should have done as far as the puzzle goes and how in the heck did Jay and Cierran actually make it out of the pit?! We kick off the episode discussing our overall thoughts of the episode and why we were most disappointed and then debating where Cassidy's rookie season ranks amongst those of the greatest. We kick off the episode by celebrating the birth of Wes Bergmann's little girl Lucy Jean, discussing our thoughts on the trailer for MTV's The Challenge season 39 Battle for a New Champion, Tony's new adventure with our friend The Challenge Historian where they will be discussing Survivor (AKA Survivor Historian), and we even have a very special shout out for this week (0:00 - 16:53).
