This week we are returning after a long break to dive into The Challenge 40 "Battle of the Eras" episodes 17 and 18. We kick off by discussing the new location and how we feel about locations changes overall. Then we break down the episode 17 daily including an interesting discussion about whether or not you would work your hardest or take the penalty in the final to save your energy. We also break down rumors and facts surrounding the questionable finish to Jenny's puzzle and discuss everything we heard about the Cara VS Rachel twitter beef. We also discuss whether Jordan's loyalty is to a fault, Cara's birthday party, why Tori and Cara are so great as friends, Cara's character arc just on season 40 and of course we break down the final elimination between Cara and Tori (0:00 - 34:23). After the break, we dive into episode 18 and discuss the difference between swim training in lakes and pools VS swimming in the open water in the ocean. We also compare this final to a few of our favorites including checkpoints they may have taken directly from past favorite finals and discuss how we feel about learning the winner immediately or having to wait to find out at the reunion. We also discuss Jordan's domination of this final, Kyland's biggest struggle so far in his reality TV career, how we feel about Challengers throwing temper tantrums on TV, predictions on how the check and karma points will work at the end of the final and are these Karma points encouraging people like Bananas and Kyland to not try as hard?
