Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick , Corrina, and Katie. This week we are joined for the 2nd Unplugged episode by Kyland Young and he gave us an extended interview going into depth over The Challenge season 40 Battle of the Eras. We kick off by discussing the turmoil in Los Angeles, visiting Tiffany Mitchell in Michigan and what Kyland's original reaction was when he saw who he would be competing against on The Challenge 40. We break into the season by discussing how his gameplan changed once his entire alliance was gone, how he got so close with Michele and what made Kyland feel terrible about Horacio's controversial elimination against Derrick Kosinski. We also discuss Jenny's incorrect puzzle board in the final daily challenge, what Kyland's favorite daily was, his scariest moment throughout the season, who shocked him the most with their intelligence and why does Big Brother typically do so much better in the house mentally than contestants from other shows? We also discuss unaired weekend activities, who Kyland would like to see come over to The Challenge from Big Brother, which men made him a little nervous and why, plus so much more! #194 Challengers Unplugged: Beyond The Edit with Tori Deal PT3
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Challengers Unplugged where we go beyond the edit with your favorite Challengers. This week our host team consists of Rick, Corrina, Katie and Alexis to sit down for our 3rd interview with none other than Tori Deal! We were so excited to have Tori as our first three-peat guest and she gave eveything! We kick off the episode with a little catching up and then break into conversation about her and Devin's friendship and how, as his bestie, she's been feeling about his relationship with Michele. We also discuss how she navigated this season with Josh considering she was working with the vacation alliance but also came into this season with blood on her resume from Challenge USA 2. Tori walks us through her decisions to battle against one of the biggest forces in the game, how it effected the season for her and what she would do differently, if anything! We also discuss her recent venture with fostering kittens and the Burger King prize money donation matches she is currently running (check links below if you'd like to participate). We also ask Tori to explain her choice in Jordan for being the GOAT, what the context was around her and Cara's reconciliation conversation, what the rules to the elimination with her and Cara were and did Tori feel like she would have performed in the final better had she not gotten that elimination the night before? We also discuss her favorite daily to win, what dinner was like on The Sinnister and of course we touch on all the updates for Tori's books and live events. We also discuss how we felt about not having an eating portion during this final, how TJ was getting back and forth from the Mathematical Leisure island, and why were the Karma Points worth 2 checkpoints? To close things out for the season, we discuss how we felt about the first place tie for the women, how the core structure of the game was altered, how this might effect future seasons going forward, and finally we have a debate on whether or not Jordan should be considered the GOAT now and do you have Jenny and/or Rachel on your MT Rushmore now? Hey Fandom! Welcome back to another episode of Roundtable Recaps with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Josh and Alexis. This week we are returning after a long break to dive into The Challenge 40 "Battle of the Eras" episodes 17 and 18. We kick off by discussing the new location and how we feel about locations changes overall. Then we break down the episode 17 daily including an interesting discussion about whether or not you would work your hardest or take the penalty in the final to save your energy. We also break down rumors and facts surrounding the questionable finish to Jenny's puzzle and discuss everything we heard about the Cara VS Rachel twitter beef. We also discuss whether Jordan's loyalty is to a fault, Cara's birthday party, why Tori and Cara are so great as friends, Cara's character arc just on season 40 and of course we break down the final elimination between Cara and Tori (0:00 - 34:23). After the break, we dive into episode 18 and discuss the difference between swim training in lakes and pools VS swimming in the open water in the ocean. We also compare this final to a few of our favorites including checkpoints they may have taken directly from past favorite finals and discuss how we feel about learning the winner immediately or having to wait to find out at the reunion. We also discuss Jordan's domination of this final, Kyland's biggest struggle so far in his reality TV career, how we feel about Challengers throwing temper tantrums on TV, predictions on how the check and karma points will work at the end of the final and are these Karma points encouraging people like Bananas and Kyland to not try as hard? Lastly we run through a quick description of each checkpoint and the final standings of them, discuss our biggest safety issue, debate the overnight challenge, ponder on whether or not Rachel regrets aligning with Jenny, our thoughts on where Jenny's asthma randomly went and of course, MVPs and final winner predictions. Let us know what you think in the comments about this shorter form recap and lets see what we can get into for All Stars 5!

Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of The Challenge 40 with the ORIGINAL Roundtable Recap. This week we've got the whole team here to break things down so buckle in for some wild conversations, debates that get a ltitle too heated considering the topic and of course plenty of laughs that'll leave you clutching at your belly. We kick off with a 16 minute introduction portion. There is a lot of Challenge talk in this segment but if you'd like to skip it, go to 16:03. In the intro we discuss plans for the podcast through the holiday season, why we don't do tiktok trends, what we know about the Challenge 40 EP 17 air schedule along with the All Stars 5 sneak peak. Lastly we discuss some Challenge dreams we've had and why does Corrina have a specific favorite Challenge dream? Once we break into the episode we start off by discussing Challenge re-runs, how we plan to help our Canadian friends finish Season 40 even after MTV turns the lights out in Canada, episode grades, how we interpreted the opening foreshadow scene and is Derek really floating through the season? Next we breakdown the daily including the final resting place of the flame-broiled cars, Jordan's impressive swim, Cara and Rachel's different approaches to the game, how important swim training for The Challenge truly is and of course, we discuss Kyland's newfound weakness in his game. Next we break into the after daily portion of the episode and debate the ranking of Burger King on our lists of favored fast foot chains, how we are feeling about a new development in Cory's character arc, our views on Jenny's incredibly dark sense of humor and is is possible to psyche out someone like Kyland who lives day to day with the Goku Mentality?! We also debate whether or not we think there should be an elimination or purge round in the final, Cory's call home to both Taylor and Cheyenne and of course, did Jenny have a right to be upset by Derek's refusal to allow her to cash her favor check? To close out the show we have a beautiful segment brought to you by one of our main co-hosts Katie regarding suicide prevention with a ton of helpful resources and things you can do to help yourself or a loved one struggling. We also discuss Derek's openness on the show, the beautiful celebration that Tori, Michele and Cara set up for Derek and his sister, and why we are perfectly okay with Cara self-nominating at this point. Finally we give a brief breakdown to the elimination, make guesses at where the cast will be relocating for the final daily, final elilmination and then to run the final of the season! All this and so much more now available on The Challenge Fandom Podcast's 190th episode recapping MTV's The Challenge Season 40 "Battle of the Eraa" episode 17 "Must Win Era". #189 The Challenge 40 EP15: Send Me An Angel... Into The Tight Cu Chi Tunnels
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Katie and Josh. This week, we give a HIGH EXPLICIT WARNING to anyone listening. You may not want to listen to this episode around your children, parents/family members or boss! We kick off the episode with our usual episode grade, over view and discussion of what would have made for a better elimination. Then we attempt to breakdown the flashback foreshadow opening scene that didn't quite seem to fit anything in the episode this week. From there we discuss a few of Cory's alliances in the house including Cara and Kyland, how we felt about Bananas' Angels trash talking Cara for getting away with playing the same game they attempted to play, and why in all the land is nobody targeting Jordan? We also discuss whether or not players like Jordan get a free pass on eliminations since they've more than proven themselves through their career and whether or not Rachel is regretting tying herself to Bananas so tightly. Next we break down the Tight Quarters inside the Cu Chi Tunnels and discuss everything from Aviv's attempt to jog the jungle to TJ fishing for compliments after Bananas can't figure his face out, and why was this episode so heavily focused on TJ? We also discuss whether or not production should have assisted Aviv sooner, how they decided a loser if Jordan timed out on the slider puzzle, whether or not the players who went into the Cu Chi Tunnels after dark were at a disadvantage and is there any chance you'd believe that Bananas threw this daily so he wouldn't have to show his cards with his Angels? To close out the episode we discuss something hilarious Corrina noticed upon the cast returning home from the daily, Michele assuming her safety with Kyland, Carl and Dave making another impeccable appearance on the show, Tori's attempt to shake up the house inside the Chamber, what we love most about Kyland's game and of course how we feel about Rachel hedging her bets with Jordan and Bananas. We also discuss whether or not Kyland is the best set up to make the final, breakdown the elimination including what matchups would have been better suited for this game, discuss new targets, MVPs, Lines of the night and so much more! #188 The Challenge 40 EP14 Roundtable Recap: The Swinging Era... w/ Special Guest Chris From The Caged In Podcast
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Katie and Josh. This week we have a very special guest join us to help break down The Challenge 40 episode 14 "The Swinging Era" and we have Chris DiCarlo from Caged In Podcast to help us dive into everything. We kick off the episode by getting to know Chris a bit such as information about what he does on his podcast, his MMA MT Rushmore, history as a Challenge fan, Challenge MT Rushmores, favorite Challenger, episode grades and we even discuss various hypotheticals that would have been good to see for this elimination (0:00 - 44:15). We break into the actual recap around 45 minutes by discussing Josh giving Michele permission to make him a target, debating when the best time to go into an elimination is, whether or not a win on an iconic casted season such as The Challenge 40 has more weight to it than others, the breakdown of the daily challenge along with initial reactions, expectations and what do we think fans actually miss from old Challenges? We also discuss a highly controversial issue that has come to light this past week followed by everyone trying to be honest as to how many targets we think we'd have been able to hit. After the break we discuss the difference between being in shape and being athletic, why we don't blame Derek for folding to Rachel's hand, how much weight we put into Challengers following each other on social media, whether or not we agree with Cory's immediate forgiveness of Josh, how we feel about Rachel's sudden change of heart towards Bananas this season, and of course we break down the Cory and Nelson friendship and what we love about Cory so much. We close out the show with a discussion on whether or not Cory is the best to never win The Challenge, the elimination breakdown, new targets, Josh's strategy with his Karma Points, MVPs and the next time on. All this and so much more now available on this episode of The Challenge Fandom Podcast featuring Caged In Podcast with Chris DiCarlo.

#187 The Challenge 40 EP13 Roundtable Recap: Best Friends 4Era... There's Trouble Afoot!
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Josh and Alexis. Plus this week we had a very special guest join us: Alexis' husband Sam!
We kick off the episode talking about football, the Mike Tyson VS Jake Paul fight and what in the world is Alexis doing with life size cut-outs?! If you'd like to skip this silly intro stuff, go to 08:02.
We break into the episode recap by discussing our overall thoughts and giving the episode an overall grade. We also discuss what the foreshadow scene of Evelyn quitting in her elimination against Kellyanne could have meant, the heavy Bananas opener on this episode and what were everyone's thoughts on Johnny Bananas and Josh VS Michele? Next we debate whether or not Olivia's rookie season was a fluke, whether or not we believe that Cara truly wants to be one of Bananas' Angels, and without all the issues with Devin would Bananas have made Michele one of his top girls regardless of her performance level? We also discuss whether or not Johnny Bananas came to win or to have fun, why Tori is sticking by Josh so hard, our thoughts on the daily, what we would have liked to see differently, our assumptions on why we have been getting less physical games these last 5-8 seasons and is Michele truly the one in the house who is most like Cara?
After a short break, we discuss the entire bus scene including how, as long time married couples, we would feel about the situation, Derek Chavez' deleted fight scene, our favorite new prospective alliance and why this season has been so much fun to watch socially. We also breakdown why Tori and Cara working together is better than them being rivals, Josh confirming he is on the Angel's side, Nia and Theo crashing the bar scene and of course Aviv's awkward confrontation of Michele and Olivia regarding the footsie callout on the bus scene. To wrap things up we breakdown the elimination, debate what we think is taking away from the dailies and eliminations the most, how we felt about Johnny Bananas cheering for Olivia and calling her "Liv", whether or not the eliminations are rigged for Michele, the biggest fan complaint that we are simply SICK OF and of course; we close out the show with discussing targets, next time on, MVP's lines of the night and any other stupid random things we can think of last minute. All this and more now available on The Challenge Fandom Podcast anywhere you listen to or watch podcasts.

#186 The Challenge 40 EP12 Roundtable Recap: The Era of the Purge... Human Kerplunk PT 2
Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony, Katie and Alexis. This week we were supposed to have Ryan Kehoe on as a special guest but he was a sleepy girl so we will have him on in the next couple weeks to help breakdown all the behind the scenes stuff we don't get to see but he gets to hear from all his Challenge besties. To kick this episode off we discuss the opening photo purge scene and why that one was chosen to promote this episode, Michele refusing to target Josh, massive editing mistakes, Cara giving flowers to other top tier female competitors around her and Rachel continues going after every guy in the house behind Johnny Bananas' back. We also debate whether or not the mini final is truly a staple of The Challenge, how the pentalty for Theo SHOULD have been handled, and how did they keep from losing their keys in the sand while digging?! Next we debate whether or not this mini final was a good measuring stick for seeing how people might perform in the final, how we felt about timing out on stage 1 of the mini final, and if Jordan happens to get his 5th win during his 10th season, would his win ratio percentage make him the undisputed GOAT of The Challenge? We also discuss whether or not Laurel should be removed from the MT Rushmore discussion after quitting this mini final, Theo requesting Jordan over Bananas, whether or not we believe there was ever a chance Tori would send in Jordan over Bananas, nomination breakdown and are Cara and Tori seriously hanging out in the same room and talking to each other civilly?! Lastly we break down the elimination including what we hated about it and how we would have fixed it. Then we close out by discussing the new targets, Josh and Michele's fight in the elimination arena, Laurel betraying Bananas in the Karma Points, episode grades, MVP's line of the night and so much more!
