After George Floyd’s murder, nonprofits across the country realized they needed to address diversity, equity, and inclusion. Some actually meant it. Ronald McDonald House Houston was determined to make a difference, not just for their staff but for their families across the world who needed a safe space. Kamilah Moore is chair of the California Reparations Task Force. She and Jean talk about "standing in the shoes of…," racial terror, the wealth gap, cultural appropriation, and generational debt. How can the Task Force address reparations to cover the legacy of injustice and stolen opportunities involved? Kamilah Moore is a reparatory justice scholar and an attorney with a specialization in entertainment and intellectual property transactions.
