Are you working on a health goal? If so, join me in an engaging discussion with Dr. Ryan McGeough, my hubby, as we explore the groundbreaking book, Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity by Peter Attia, MD. Discover the book's unique perspective on modern medicine's limitations in treating chronic diseases and its emphasis on aligning health goals with individual purpose.

Do You Need to Dismantle Your Habits and Routines So That You Can Fizz With Possibility? | Ep. 49
I was reading the book Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano and this paragraph made me catch my breath, it reads:
“After they made love that night, they slept naked for the the first time since they were young. They were dismantling their habits and routines and it was like pulling up floorboards and finding joy underneath."
What are the floorboards you need to pull up? Do you have habits or routines that you created because you thought that’s what you should do? You thought they were what was holding you up but underneath there was joy.
In this episode, I encourage you to locate the the routines or habits that are your shoulds. Where are you trying harder and maybe you need to try easier? Could it be that pushing makes you flat, and you need to fizz? Bubble? Pop?
I wish for you bravery--that you might let go of a should in a way that makes you proud of yourself, in a way that presses upon you and makes you fizz with possibility.

Time is Precious: Rethinking What We Consider Wasted Time | Ep. 46
About 10 years ago, I wrote and directed a play called "Wasted." I was really interested in the concept of waste. What do we consider waste? Who do we treat as waste or garbage? Who gets to be wasteful? When are we wasting time? What activities are seen as valuable and what activities are considered a waste? In this episode, I discuss all things wasted time. By the end of this episode, I hope you can articulate what you see as wasted time and have a few tools for dealing with wasted time. Let's do this!
