Mormon Stereotypes: True or False?
Are Mormons polygamous? Do all Mormons have a lot of kids? Do all Mormons live in Utah? Do all Mormons go to BYU? There are SO MANY stereotypes about members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons). Are the stereotypes true?
Well, as with many stereotypes, they contain some amount of truth and that's what we talk about in this video. We address many different stereotypes and respond to their veracity. Mimi first addresses the question of polygamy. She says that she doesn't have multiple moms, as she is often accused. Kwaku responds by reading off a list of stereotypes and giving a quick answer to each. David talks about the age at which LDS members (or 'Mormons') get married, among other things.

Do Mormons Have Gifts of the Spirit?
If you've been to a service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church), you may have noticed that there is lots of talk about the Spirit and gifts of the Spirit. But what is a gift of the spirit? And how do I know if I have one? And what do I do when I realize I have such a gift??
We believe that all people can have gifts of the spirit. While we may not realize our gifts until later in life, we believe that all people have the potential to attain and act on such gifts. In this episode, we talk about many different gifts of the spirit, the gifts that the hosts have, and what to do when you feel you have such a gift. We're SO grateful that God is active in the lives of His children (all of us) and that he has given us gifts to grow and improve.

ESCAPING Human Trafficking - Coco's Story
Today's episode is more intense than ones we've done in the past and for good reason. Today we talk with Coco about her experience in being a victim of human trafficking. Coco shares her story of miraculously escaping when she was a teenager, eventually finding the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly known as the Mormon Church) and forging her future. Victims of human trafficking go through different experiences, different phases of grief, and different thought processes. However, all are the same in that they have profound stories of pain, hope, trial, and happiness that we can all believe and learn from. They are also the same in that each victim is worthy of love, happiness, normality, and comfort. If Coco's story sounds similar to yours and you have yet to escape human trafficking, REACH OUT. Find help. You never deserve to be abused. Ever.

Mormon to Atheist to Mormon | Leo's Story
Today Kwaku had an awesome opportunity to talk with Leo Winegar who we absolutely adore. He has been a long time commenter on our videos and a solid defender of the faith. Leo was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons) but upon discovering the polygamous life of Joseph Smith, he left the Church. Instead of searching for another Christ-based religion, Leo became atheist. He was married to a devoted member of the Church and didn't want their marriage to end so he was cautious in going about his leaving the Church. However, Leo soon felt prompted to reach out to a professor at BYU with his concerns. The professor responded with kindness and provided the answers Leo needed to continue back on his journey toward discipleship. Have you ever experienced a faith crisis? How did you navigate your doubts?

How to Write and Give a Mormon Talk
WARNING: This is strictly our opinion so when you write a talk, follow the Spirit first... and then take our advice ;)
Members of the LDS Church are asked to give 'talks' (lessons, lectures, sermons, whatever you might call it) during Sacrament meeting on Sundays. Justin explains that typically a member of the bishopric will call or approach you, asking if you will give a talk in the future. While you don't have to say yes, giving a talk is a great opportunity to learn and to grow. Kwaku says it's important to keep your mind fully in the talk. It's very likely the case that the audience isn't out to judge every word you say. David says that half of the battle is the long wait before your talk comes. If you can make it to the pulpit, you're going to be okay. :) He also says that really, talks aren't necessarily to teach something profound and new-- talks are a way to relay what you've learned while studying the topic. Mostly, giving a talk requires prayer so that the spirit can be the teacher. Don't be afraid to say what comes to your heart.

Mormon Leaders are HUMANS! feat. Stephen Jones
We LOVED having Stephen Jones on the show with us to talk about the humanity of LDS Church leaders. Stephen is not only a successful comedian but is a spiritual GIANT so having him on the show was a dream come true. Many critics of the Mormon Church claim that the Church is run by imperfect people. Well, it turns out that the claim is true! Many LDS leaders have said things that aren't perfect. Stephen says that we often put people in authority in a box and believe that they can't leave the box because for whatever reason, it would be incorrect and out of character for a representative of God to be acting in such a way. But David says that sometimes we underestimate the importance of what is going to happen after this life. We've got an eternity to work on things. We're going to make mistakes, the prophets are going to make mistakes, but we're all going to work it out at some point with the help of God.

First Time Meeting LDS Missionaries!
Today we talk about what to expect when meeting the missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (sometimes called Mormon Missionaries or missionaries of the Mormon Church). Kwaku talks about his side of the story- being the recipient of missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (sometimes called the LDS Church). Kwaku gives advice as far as what kinds of things to expect and what you should expect of yourself as well. David and Justin both served missions and talk about their side of the story. What is it like to talk to people for the first time about the gospel?

Mormon Dating Culture (Female Perspective)
Mimi teams up with guests Korinne and Izzy to give the much needed Mormon dating advice from a girl's perspective. As a response to the guy’s perspective with Colby Ferrin, the girls discuss ghosting, post date texts, and setting correct expectations. Is dating a Mormon girl different than dating any other girl?
