In this episode, Tanner shares his story about growing up in a very religious community, finding the Book of Mormon musical, converting to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and being kicked out of his house for his conversion. He talks about this mission for the Church (otherwise known as the Mormon Church) and his decision to move to Utah.    Tanner talks about seeing the Book of Mormon musical and realizing that he was interested to meet a real 'Mormon.' What is it like to be raised in a Jewish family but find that the Mormon Church is the church you need to join? Gale Boyd tells her experience of feeling the spirit in the Mormon faith, finding similarities with Judaism and eventually deciding to convert to the Mormon Church.    Gale was young when she began looking for a Church to join. While she was raised with Jewish influence, she wasn't brought up by fully devoted Jewish parents. As she looked for a Church, she began investigating Mormonism and expressed her feelings of being "at home" when she entered a Mormon chapel. We LOVE conversion stories! In this episode, Elaine tells about her story of finding the Church and it's absolutely AMAZING!    Elaine was confused with the doctrines taught by her church leaders so she decided to look into other religions. During her search, her friend gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon. As she read, she knew there was truth in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the LDS Church or Mormon Church).    However, Elaine had difficulty sharing her love of the gospel with her friends and family because they weren't as accepting as she had hoped. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church or LDS Church), members believe they can be married to their spouse for time (while both are living) and for ALL ETERNITY (even after death).  We believe that we can live forever with every member of our family. We believe that Jesus Christ broke the bands of death and as such, allowed every single person EVER to live for eternity, no matter the religious affiliation or decisions made while on the earth.
