In this episode, we talk about the translation of the Book of Mormon since it's the anniversary of the translation! We share our experience with the Book of Mormon, what the process of translation was like, and some fun facts. What does the Book of Mormon mean to you? 

Once upon a time, we came across an article on Latter-day Saint Mag that was powerful, magical, and humbly told. We reached out to the author, Steve Kenny, who so happened to respond to our message and join us for an interview about his conversion story! Steve is a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ (otherwise known as the Mormon Church). Steve is from Ireland, where he was taught Irish legends and history that helped him in his journey to joining the church. His story is beautiful and simple and everything we hoped it would be. This is an episode you don't want to miss!!

It's not often that we have a scholar on the life of Joseph Smith join us to talk about our founder and first prophet. We are so grateful to hear from Casey Griffiths about the last moments of Joseph Smith's life. Joseph Smith was shot and killed on June 27th, 1844. In this episode, you'll hear Casey mention some important doctrines, dates, and events, many of which we have talked about in previous videos. 

We could NOT be more stoked to share this episode with you because, well, our guest today might be the most accomplished person we know 😅😳 David Roskelley climbed to the top of Mount Everest with his Book of Mormon. Yes, you read that right. But he gets cooler. He also is the first American to summit the volcanic 7 summits. And it gets even cooler. He has also climbed each of the highest mountains on each continent.

We have officially watched the entire season of Under the Banner of Heaven and have MANY thoughts about the last few episodes 😬 The Hulu series 'Under the Banner of Heaven' is based on a book written by Jon Krakauer. The series depicts the story of the Lafferty murders and focuses heavily on their faith as once members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Both the writer of the book and the director of the series (and those involved with the show) are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church).

If you are new to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or haven't fully grasped how the LDS Church is organized, this episode is for you! In this episode, we give a very brief explanation of the ways in which members of the LDS Church are organized. You may have heard some confusing terms in the Church such as "ward," "branch president," and "stake." But what do these terms mean and how do they fit within the organization of the church?

Benjamin recently wrote a book about pride and humility, after going through a grueling process of learning about his personal pride and his search for true humility. Benjamin is currently pursuing his law degree from Harvard Law School and is a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ. We're stoked to share this conversion story with you! Jaxon is witty, humble, kind, and a firm believer of Jesus Christ. Jaxon grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church) and had many wonderful experiences in the church growing up. However, it wasn't until a severe accident occurred that Jaxon began searching for forgiveness, not knowing if he would make it out of his surgery. Under the Banner of Heaven, a miniseries on Hulu based on the book by John Krakauer, was recently released. We filmed our reaction to the first and second episodes in a previous video. We recently watched episodes 3 and 4 and have decided they warranted a reaction!!
