Kindled Podcast | Truth and Grace, Boldly
Kindled Podcast exists to speak truth and grace boldly to cultural, theological and political issues from a Biblical worldview. Speaking the truth in love with boldness, we will grow to become the mature body of Christ.
Love for God is kindled in our hearts as we are transformed by His power. May these conversations spur us on to love and good works so those near us and far would know that our Lord God is King. "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." Revelation 12:11

EDUCATION MINI-SERIES: Introduction | Haley Williams | Ep. 97
Welcome to the Education Mini-Series! In this introduction, Haley gives a preface to this 3-part mini-series in which you'll hear from 6 women who, along with their husbands, have all chosen different routes for educating their kids. You'll hear from two who chose public school, two who chose homeschooling and two who chose private school. As believers in Jesus, we have the great privilege and responsibility of teaching our kids about Jesus and praying God uses our instruction to open the eyes of their heart unto salvation. As for academic education, I believe we have a number of faithful options when it comes to how our children are educated. There are any number of models and methods and many, many different ways people have done it over the years. But for the sake of brevity, we're broadly exploring the big three - public, private and homeschool. The point of these interviews is not to offer a prescription for your situation or tell you WHAT to think but rather help you with HOW to think about this important decision. It's what I have wanted as my own husband and I have had these conversations. To hear some real, boots-on-the-ground experiences, questions and answers and encouragement to do the best with what we have and know today, trusting our great God to bring the harvest as only He can. I pray it blesses everyone who listens, helping you to put this decision in perspective and put your hope in Jesus alone. I know I need this reminder daily! Replay: Grace-Filled Limitations & The Glory of God | Maggie Combs
Today’s episode is straight FIRE, ya’ll.
This is one of my favorites! In it I'm chatting with Maggie Combs about how God places grace-filled limitations on our lives as He asks us to obey Him so that the fruit of our labor can point to Him and not us. The day I interviewed Maggie I was really struggling with “the Kingdom of Mom” and our conversation was a HUGE grace in my day and week, reminding me of truth in a hard circumstance.

Replay: Victory in the Ordinary | Tabitha Panariso | Ep. 54
Perhaps you're waking up on an ordinary Monday, in an ordinary week of your ordinary life. Perhaps you feel forgotten, invisible or alone in your own particular monotony. The rhythm of the work week or being home with the kids. Perhaps, though, you've forgotten that the mundane everyday is exactly where Jesus wants to meet you. It's exactly where His love feels the most intimate and caring - in the unseen minutes of every day.
For moms, these moments are often the ones that feel the most overwhelming.

Progressive Christianity | Phylicia Masonheimer | Ep. 89
What do you call a moralistic, therapeutic version of Christianity that values questions over answers and being “good” over being “right?"
Buckle up, ladies!
We're in for an exciting and extremely important episode about Progressive Christianity. You'll appreciate this episode as Phylicia walks us through the actual tenets of Progressive Christianity - what it purports as truth and why it is antithetical to the Gospel.

Take a Holiday, Grumpy Mom | Valerie Woerner | Ep. 88
WANT MORE JOY IN MOTHERHOOD?
THEN YOU NEED AN ESCAPE - NOT FROM MOTHERHOOD BUT FROM THE WORLD’S DEFINITION OF IT.
Valerie was just your average mom who was spending way too much time frustrated with short naps, spilled milk and mundane days. She expected refreshment to come behind a locked bathroom door or on a beach somewhere but it started happening in her mind when she was able to identify twenty lies the world tells us about motherhood that were sabotaging her joy.
