A 16-year FBI employee claims he was fired for displaying a Pride flag at his desk, which he says was given to him by the bureau. The lawsuit accuses FBI Director Kash Patel and other agency leaders of violating his First Amendment rights and seeking to intimidate and silence LGBTQ employees nationwide. Scott MacFarlane reports. DEA administrator Terry Cole said "I think the strategy of an all hands approach, it's making a difference" after the Coast Guard had its largest seizure of cocaine in history. The House and the Senate passed a bill on Tuesday to force the Justice Department to release its files related to Jeffrey Epstein. It comes after months of opposition from President Trump and GOP leadership - and after years of lobbying from some of Epstein's accusers. CBS News' Caitlin Huey-Burns reports. Annie Farmer, who testified she was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell when she was 16, speaks to "CBS Mornings" about Congress' vote to release the files. She said she's hopeful there will be transparency following this vote, but still has concerns. She also spoke about Maxwell, saying, "she needs to serve her full sentence." Anna Kepner was traveling with her family in the Caribbean when the 18-year-old's body was found by a cruise ship worker. The FBI is looking into whether it was foul play and, according to a court filing in an unrelated family matter, a criminal case may be opened against a stepsibling of Kepner. President Trump now appears to support the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, saying focus on the matter is a distraction and Republicans have nothing to hide. A Trump administration housing official has referred Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California to the Justice Department over allegations involving mortgage fraud, according to sources. Swalwell, who served as an impeachment manager in President Trump's first term, has denied any wrongdoing. Rep. The longest government shutdown in U.S. history ended Wednesday after President Trump signed the funding bill into law. The House narrowly passed the funding package with six Democrats joining Republicans. CBS News' Nikole Killion reports. Authorities are continuing to search for a missing 9-year-old girl, Melodee Buzzard, a month after she was reported missing in California. Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman is among the Democrats who voted with Republicans on a bill that could end the government shutdown. Affordable Care Act subsidies have been at the center of the shutdown fight. For the last 12 days, YouTube TV subscribers have missed out on all Disney programming as its parent company fights with Disney over rights.
