I think this is the shortest recap I've ever done but when you listen you'll find out why....This might be considered a controversial statement, but Austen is having a redemption season. That monologue in the shoe store with Taylor was one of the most heartfelt moments we've ever seen from him. And then the physical comedy on the tennis court?? And what about the butt bit!? I am so down for this Austen. Getting out of that toxic dynamic with Madison is doing him good.Shep, on the other hand, can go scratch. But honestly Taylor is not innocent in their situation. This episode isn't really about them tho. It's more about watching Craig drunkenly progress towards an epic explosion on Naomie. I could honestly see that coming from miles away, and she walked right into it by poking him when he was clearly blacked out.This episode is a true 10 out of 10 for me because it gave me old Southern Charm energy. Either Erika's lawyers didn't explain things properly or she just didn't want to hear it. The timing of the case being dismissed in Chicago in order to be filed in California couldn't have been worse. She used that as vindication and justification for her abhorrent behavior the night before.Erika's refusal to participate in Kemo Sabe and Dorit's decision to stay by her side sent Kyle on a tequila induced spiral that culminated in a childlike tantrum that required Mauricio to step in. Craig's horrible toxicity has arrived and it's in the form of spinning Naomie into the "crazy ex girlfriend". The reality is he never communicated properly with Paige OR Naomie and he's inaccurately delivering information to both parties. He wants the story to be: Naomie is still in love with Craig. Craig is in love with Paige. Naomie regrets ever breaking up with Craig and Craig wins Southern Charm.Meanwhile, Friendsgiving is cute but thankfully Craig is messy, Paige is mean, and Naomie isn't afraid to confront the problem head on.
