Hidden symbolism in the movies of Stanley Kubrick, and the dark influences of Saturn are the broad subject areas in Volume 35, as Mark Devlin talks to US filmmaker, author and esoteric scholar Jay Weidner. His 'Kubrick's Odyssey' DVD series puts forward the theory that Kubrick was hired by the powers that be to fake the footage of the Apollo 11 moon landing, and that the sets on '2001: A Space Odyssey' were a practice run for this. Later, Kubrick placed visual clues into his version of 'The Shining' to reveal cryptically what really happened.In fact, says Weidner, all of Kubrick's latter films are encoded with great truths which we're only today starting to understand. Kubrick understood the elite/ Illuminati agenda, and depicted this in films such as 'Dr Strangelove' and the satanic ritual-laden 'Eyes Wide Shut', released just after Kubrick's sudden death, and with 25 minutes of footage cut out by the studio. The fascinating subject area of synchronicity and number 'coincidences' are the subject of this volume, as Mark Devlin chats with Canadian author and researcher Mark Grant. Following a profound experience in 1982, Mark has devoted the past 30-plus years to examining the phenomenon of synchronicity, and considering the possible causal factors behind it.Mark's book, which has just reached its third edition, is entitled 'A Tale Of Two Synchronicities', and refers to what he calls micronicities and macronicities. The first are events which have meaning and significance on a personal basis; the latter are events which hold relevance to large groups of people on a collective basis, and he gives examples of each. On the subject of numbers, Mark relates the influence of 'the fours' in his own life, and how 44 and various derivatives of it, have featured. Alternative researcher Chris Spivey joins us for another Good Vibrations and some more direct talk, on this occasion, addressing institutionalised paedophilia and sexual corruption within all levels of The British Establishment. A fascinating volume to kick off 2014, as Mark Devlin chats to Kevin Annett, former Protestant clergyman in Canada, and now General Field Secretary for the International Tribunal Into Crimes Against Church and State (http://www.itccs.org) The organisation was established to investigate the alleged abuse, torture, kidnap and ritual killing of children at the hands of the Catholic Church and the British Royal Family, and to seek to bring the perpetrators to justice. Kevin explains how the disappearance of ten Aboriginal children from a Catholic school in British Columbia following a visit by the Queen of England and Prince Philip, was a springboard to much of the ITCCS work, and how child abuse is an integral part of the Church and Royal institutions. He also suggests the real reason why Joseph Ratzinger, aka Pope Benedict, resigned his post in 2013, and why The Queen cancelled a scheduled tour of Rome.Much of the general public would be shocked by the allegations, he concedes, as there has naturally been silence from the mainstream media, but evidence and witness testimonies exist, and there is more to go on every week. In possibly the most challenging and thought-provoking GV yet, Mark Devlin chats to Mark Passio, a US teacher and lecturer who started out as a practitionier in Anton La Vey's Church Of Satan. Having acquired much knowledge of the workings of the universe, the appeal of the satanists' ego-driven worldview waned and Mark decided to go over to the light side and to use his knowledge to awaken humanity from its long-imposed spiritual slavery to a force of evil. He explains how, far from trying to stop him, his former colleagues merely laughed at what they saw as an exercise in futility. In many ways, he says, they had a point, since the awakening of human consciousness spoken of by so many New Age gurus is a gross exaggeration, as the masses slumber on. Despite this, he maintains, those who have undergone a conscious awakening have a responsibility to share their knowledge with others as far as is practical, and he outlines his 'tough love' approach to this. The results of the ripples spread by this current age will be felt way into the future, he argues, and so it's still vitally important to do what needs to be done, even in spite of enormous obstacles.
