How To Set Delusional Goals And Manifest Big Dreams in 2024

Your dream life happens by design, but most of us don't even create the space to dream of what we really want. We’re going all in on getting out of our comfort zone and setting goals that could truly change our lives. Because if your goals aren’t making you a little uncomfortable, they’re not fucking big enough. So join me in shooting your moonshot in 2024, and tune in to learn about:How being a little delulu can build resilience and alter self-efficacy and self-talkThe science behind optimism and confidence in major achievementsThe importance of breaking big goals down into achievable stepsGathering evidence for your goals and building self-beliefVision boarding and visualization exercises for dreaming bigThe power of affirmations and mantrasSurrounding yourself with supportive dreamersAfter you document your epic dreams for the year, I hope you can share them with people who will support you and hold you accountable. Introducing Season 3: A New Direction For Teach Me How To Adult
HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome back to Season 3! Allow me to reintroduce myself as your host, on a constant quest to level up my adulting, Gillian Berner. Just like last season, I’ll be bringing you in-depth guest interviews and quickie episodes every Wednesday, and quick hits that you might’ve missed to start your week each Monday. We'll be talking all things communication, relationships, sex, mental health, manifesting, career moves, mindfulness, money management, and hacking our health and wellness. But this season, I'm approaching it all through my own unique lens of non-linear, unconventional adulting. Because there's more than one way to adult, and more than ever, our generation is zig-zagging their way to new versions of success and happiness. We're in an era that affords us so many options for how we can move through life: We have empowerment and autonomy to pursue whatever the fuck we want, on our own timelines. But sometimes that can feel isolating, and comparison can get the best of us. So I’m devoting Season 3 to having more conversations about how we can do it our way, finding our own versions of success, and celebrating the unconventional milestones that deserve more recognition. I’m so excited to create this season with you all, and I want to hear from you about what you're going through, and what you'd like to learn more about. So DM me with any topics, or send me a voice note with a question or challenge you're facing to be featured in an upcoming episode. Thanks for joining me on the journey. How To Go Sober-Curious For The Holidays And Set Boundaries With Booze | Re-Release
The holidays can trigger a lot of unhealthy drinking patterns, especially if you've been exploring the sober-curious life, or setting more concrete boundaries around your alcohol consumption. How do you stick with it and create a new relationship with booze? In this re-release, we throw it back to a deep, hard (and hella vulnerable) look at our relationship with alcohol, and bring you along for the ride as we reevaluate how to move forward with booze. We’re not here to convince you to quit drinking — we love ourselves a boozy night out as much as the next queen, but while we aspire to age like a fine wine, our former drinking habits have not aged well, and getting drunk definitely isn’t serving us in our 30s. This is a choose your own adventure, because we’re leaving labels — along with getting blackout — behind us. Whether you’ve been sober-curious, or you just want to live a more balanced life, you don’t need to label yourself as a drinker or non-drinker: it's just about exploring your relationship with alcohol mindfully, getting self-aware and honest with yourself, and setting boundaries around drinking when you need to in any situation. If you’re curious about what a more mindful relationship with alcohol looks like, grab a glass of your favorite bevy and tune in as we chat about: Why drinking is so embedded in our cultureThe mental and physical impacts of boozeCailyn’s journey to a more sober-curious lifeGill’s journey to drinking more mindfully and intentionallyUnderstanding the “why” behind your drinking habitsUncovering your drinking triggersFiguring out what type of booze works best for you (Byeee tequila shots!)Setting clear boundaries with yourself and othersDealing with the social pressure to drinkOur favourite alcohol-free activities (that are still maximum fun)Science-backed tips for dealing with hangoversWe hope this episode helps you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationship with alcohol, no matter what journey you’re on!
