#958: Self-Growth > Self-Love

A touchy and potentially controversial or triggering subject for this episode... But it's what needs to be said, in order for YOU to grow beyond what your current mindset allows you to believe can be accomplished! Too many people use the excuse of "self love" as a way to simply accept where they're at as "just fine" and stay comfortable, avoiding discomfort and therefore self growth. Well, I believe that becoming aware of where you're NOT at, while accepting that you're NOT the person you truly want to become... Is the best form of self love, because it's self-honesty. With this level of honesty, comes serious self-growth because it forces you to become aware of where you're at, accept that you're not where you should or could be, and then CHANGE yourself in order to get there. And if the common excuse is to not get uncomfortable and grow, because today's world tells you that you need to practice self-love and self-acceptance... Well, that's self-delusion if you ask me.
