In this Game Notes podcast, we had the pleasure to work with Pedro Rodrigues Jr, from Fitchburg, MA. Pedro just finished his 8th-season as an official and he is looking to hit the camp scene hard this summer and get picked up in a collegiate conference. One of our main points of emphasis was the idea of being able to “take a punch” and have the type of “tough chin” to not bite on incidental contact. Another topic we discussed was the fact that Pedro is utilizing the IPR service as a lead up and a great way to get ready for camp season. In this IPR follow-up, we got a chance to work with Brady Stiff from Illinois. Brady began officiating back in college while attending Indiana University in the mid-2000s. Since then, he's continued to work hard at moving up the officiating ladder both on the girl's and boys' sides. In this podcast, we talk about slowing down everything from your processing time to your signaling and everything else in between.
