James Winchester is the long snapper with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was undrafted in 2013 after playing his college football at the University of Oklahoma. He was signed by the Chiefs in 2015 and has been their long snapper since. Scott Nagy was named the head men’s basketball coach at Southern Illinois on March 28, 2024. He began his coaching career in the late 1980’s with Illinois before becoming a head coach in 1995 at South Dakota State. After 11 years, he moved to Wright State, where he coached from 2016-2024. As a division one head coach, Nagy has led his teams to five NCAA Tournament berths. Today on the podcast we talk to coach Nagy about his journey of faith and coaching. He discusses his upbringing in a Christian home, his struggles with performance-based faith, and the recent decision to move to Southern Illinois. He emphasizes the importance of prioritizing character, discipline, and accountability over winning and encourages young coaches to pursue a relationship with Jesus and focus on the players. Juwan Johnson is a tight end with the New Orleans Saints. He was undrafted coming out of college after spending 4 seasons with Penn State and his senior year at Oregon. He signed with the Saints in 2020 and has become an integral part of New Orleans' offense. In 2022, he had 42 receptions for 508 yards and 7 touchdowns. In 2023, he had 37 receptions and 4 touchdowns.
