Showing your work with Dr. Linc Harris (DHP119)

On Facebook you see beautiful porcelain photographed biting into a vibrant red cherry with sparkly lips. Before pictures of destroyed dentitions followed by afters of the most amazing implant and restorative dentistry ever. Yes, it's gorgeous. But let's be honest, it doesn't help you become a better dentist. Returning guest Dr. Linc Harris decided to do something about that! Linc is a dentist that photographs his work and shares it online. His goal is to photgraph from start to finish and show it all. Even when there are complications! In order to do this, he started a Facebook group called RIPE: Restorative Implant Practice Excellence. He and 30,000 of his best friends show their work, from start to finish and help each other get better. Today, he talks about how get started with photography and how he started RIPE! Episode 119's Brain Trust is extra special! Not only did we record it live, it features the one and only Dr. Cory Glenn sitting down with the incomparable Dr. Melissa Zetter. Jason and Alan were joined by these superstars to talk about dental implant treatment planning. Cory teaches for Blue Sky Bio Academy about implants, guided surgery and treatment planning and spent an entire weekend showing the crew how to use Blue Sky Bio Plan software. This powerful software lets you know where to place the implant predictably and even allows you to generate a printable surgical guide! You owe it to yourself to check out what Cory is doing. He's nothing short of amazing! Some links from the show: Blue Sky Bio home page Blue Sky Bio patient education videos It's time to join the Dental Hacks Nation closed Facebook group!
