Episode 125 is a very special one for Alan. He sat down with his dad, Roger Mead, for a conversation about dentistry. Dr. Mead graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy school of dentistry in 1968 and is still practicing dentistry today! Luckily, dentistry is rarely a life and death profession. Yet most of the bad outcomes in dentistry are from human error. We're not good at evaluating human error and we're not comfortable talking about our own mistakes.
