Christians too often delve into the culture. They kowtow to it, and fall down into it, and further pollute the spring. In the name of Christian liberty, almost everything is permitted, but what was it that Romans 14 was talking about? Shall we encourage more or less interaction with pop culture, and at what point are you stepping over the line and having communion with the unfruitful works of darkness?

Here are the gutsy pro-life ads that interrupted The View, the World Series, and other programming during the presidential campaign. Whether God uses a donkey, or Jonah, or anybody else, the prophetic word gets out for these empires that attempt a coup against the Almighty.

Action films have changed shape since the heyday of Stallone, Willis, Gibson, and Schwarzenegger. More women, more explicit gore, more ethical ambiguity, and more hard-edged nihilism all around. But, what about the vigilantism, the venge-fests, the blood lust, and the pride and reliance on self? Did they include God in the picture, or is all of this to the glory of man? Here is a worldview analysis of action films.

With one final treacherous policy decision, President Joe Biden sweeps almost every federal prisoner on death row into a free-room-and-board program for the rest of their lives. Whence cometh this softy-wofty treatment of ax murderers and serial killers? The root is found in a corrupted 19th-century theology. Human governments are supposed to be some expression of common grace that dates back to the Noahic covenant—but not much anymore.  

Crazy worldviews produce crazy consequences. That principle cannot be better illustrated than with Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and the man who’s got the ear of the most powerful man in the world. We dissect the Musk worldview, ultimately the same atheistic worldview as Douglas Adams and Richard Dawkins. What did Christ do for the world over these 2,000 years with the aid of His followers? What would the world be like if Jesus had never been born?

There cannot be a more needful topic for the hour than this. Discipleship is the mission. Discipleship is what is lacking, especially the discipleship of the disciplers, in the age of education, institutions, and seminaries. There is a transgender tug-of-war going on over children. Some states are staging themselves as sanctuary states for transgender surgeries for kids and children’s rights. Others will stand for parental rights. The only question that matters is this: What does the Bible (i.e. God) say about transgenderism and parental rights?

Isolation. Exclusivism. The sovereignty of man. Fixated on external practices. A rejection of the historical church. This is what has characterized eccentric cults over the years. But, the fallout from gross heterodoxy and hypocrisy can be severe. But the biggest cult of all is the post-Christian, anti-Christian worldview indoctrination into atheism and humanism. This brought about a sexual revolution that did more damage than anybody could have ever imagined.
