This lecture continues on to explain one of the ways Allah starts a Sura: Huruf Muqatta'at - The Despaired Letters. The speaker describes the wisdom as to why might Allah place these letters at the beginning of Sura's. He also explains the hidden meanings to why a Sura may end with the same theme it began with and provides numerous examples from the Qur'an for one to ponder upon its selected themes.

The speaker describes the different ways that Allah can begin a Sura such as with commands, oaths, praise, pure questions, etc. He also explains why Sura Fatiha is the ultimate beginning Sura in the Qur'an and the virtue it holds in portraying the final message of the Qur'an.

The concept of Naskh - Abrogation of Verses is introduced in this video. The speaker explains some of the reason why the Qur'an holds abrogation of verses. He continues on by explaining the different kinds of Naskh as well as listing their examples from the Qur'an and Hadith.

This video introduces the next two types of Tafsirs: Tafsir Isha’ree - The Allegorical Tafsir and Tafsir Fiqhi - Juridical Tafsir. The speaker describes the differences between the two and how one should approach learning these concepts. He continues on to list the scholars which have written these tafsir works and that he also explains that Tafsir Isha’ree was generally written by scholars of spirituality.

The speaker continues on to explain the concept of Tafsir Ar Ra e - The Tafsir of Own Understanding which is based on opinions. The speaker mentions the different tafsir works written by scholars of the past and how some of them were even inspired by the previous work of a scholar. He also describes what are the qualifications of a Mufasir - A Commentator and their contributions to explaining the Qur'an and why their works are admired.
